An unnecessary warning – the Financial Mail
As we set our mind to this week’s Turkey of the week instalment we were sorely tempted to lambaste the country’s leading weekly financial magazines (Finweek and Financial Mail) for their pathetic attempts at distribution of late. Your editor has to run the gauntlet at any number of news agencies to find a copy of these magazines in the Centurion area, usually without success. It’s only thanks to some assistance from the office – that kindly faxed me a copy of this week’s Financial Mail Diamonds & Dogs column – that we can single out Queensgate Hotels & Leisure (JSE: QHL) as our share to avoid.
